Judit Hettema (Bruchem, The Netherlands, 1977) is a dutch media artist.
She works with photography & video in the field of fine art and makes large-scale photographs, prints, light boxes and video installations

She studied at Academies of Fine Art in Utrecht & Breda in The Netherlands and attended HISK Higher Institute of Schone Kunsten in Antwerp/ Ghent Belgium as artist in residence (2007-2008).

Her work was nominated for Rodenbach Award 2008 (Belgium) and Euregio Art Prize 2005 (Germany/ the Netherlands) and she is the winner of Van Bommel van Dam Public Prize 2007 and the Young Talent Award of the Kunstuitleen 2003.

Her work is part of collections of several ministry departments in The Netherlands. She also realized
several art works for the art collection of the world wide company Oce. She participated as artist in residence at NAC Nida Art Colony in Lithuania and in Sunhoo Industrial Design Residency in Hangzhou China and has exhibited in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Lithuania, India, United Kingdom.
